"I believe that an individual's emotional, spiritual, and physical needs must be addressed in order to maximize their full potential."
Philosophy of Counseling
I think of the counseling experience as an opportunity for growth, optimism, and a test of faith. Those whose strength and faith have been tested are able to emerge stronger for that experience. It is because of that belief that I counsel as a profession. I feel privileged to interact with each client with whom I come in contact. My own life experiences of love, loss, and tests of faith enrich my interactions with my clients and hopefully provide a validating experience through which an individual can continue to grow even after our relationship has ended.
I enjoy many physical and outdoor pursuits in my free time, and never cease to marvel at the majesty God has created in both our natural world and in each of us as individuals. I have 4 children ages 15-25, and have volunteered in the schools extensively as a result! I continue to be active in both school, sports, and church activities with my children and spouse.
