Individual Counseling

There are many reasons that people seek out individual counseling. Whether you were referred by someone or simply make the decision to come yourself, this is an important step in your journey towards wholeness and greater joy in life.

During the initial diagnostic evaluation session a history will be taken and preliminary goal setting will be accomplished. Treatment practices, philosophy, provisional goals as well as limitations and risks will be discussed. Recommendations in terms of frequency of appointments or even other possible therapies will be given. Based on mutual consent, individual counseling will begin. Not only do you need a competent counselor, but you need to feel comfortable with the counselor and preliminary recommendations.
